Do all scientists believe in evolution?
What about EvolutionThe view that we often hear in the media is that the creation/evolution debate is a matter of science versus religion. If the debate is expressed this way it gives the impression that the debate is about evidence versus unproven theory. However the reality is that there is a huge amount of scientific evidence to support creation and it also takes faith to believe in a theory like evolution.
We are often given the impression that all scientists or at least all reputable scientists believe in evolution. This is not the case. Some of the most prominent scientists have believed in creation. A list of a few of these scientists can be found here. There are several creation research societies around the world. Two of the major ones are shown below.
- 600+ voting scientists of the Creation Research Society (voting membership requires at least an earned master's degree in a recognized area of science).
- 150 Ph.D. scientists and 300 other scientists with masters degrees in science or engineering are members of the Korea Association of Creation Research. The President of KACR is the distinguished scientist and Professor Young-Gil Kim of the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. He has a Ph.D. in Materials Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is a highly distinguished scientist and the inventor of various important high-tech alloys.
This brief information shows that there are many reputable scientists that take the biblical account of creation seriously.
