Jesus birth predicted years in advance!

The coming of Jesus was foretold by many different prophets hundreds of years before the actual event. These prophecies are preserved for us in the Old Testament in the Bible. Many copies of these prophecies have been found that predate the New Testament by hundreds of years. Events like the manner and location of His birth, the way He lived his life, His death and resurrection were perfectly recorded many years before they actually happened. Even the date of His death was recorded beforehand, and is backed up by secular historical records.

There are more than 60 direct "messianic" prophecies and 270 consequences of His life predicted in the Old Testament. The chances of 1 person fulfilling only 8 of these prophecies are 1 in 100,000,000,000,000,000. For someone to fulfil 48 of these prophecies the chances are 1 in 10 to the 157th power (1 with 157 zeros after it). Add to that the other prophecies and it soon becomes clear that these prophecies could not just have been fulfilled by chance.
